Pennsylvania tint law
The rules, in plain English.
- Front side windows: up to 70% VLT.
- Windshield: a 70% VLT strip across the top is legal; full windshield tint is not explicitly legal but common.
- Rear side windows / back glass: any darkness is allowed as long as you have a second side mirror.
- Medical exemption: darker fronts require PennDOT documentation.
